The benefits of Miss Nightingale
Miss Nightingale is versatile and perfect to use at any location. Developed from recycled materials and durable in use.
Solar Light
The world’s greatest natural energy resource is the sun. It’s abundant, sustainable and available everywhere. It’s a solution for everyone in need of power with and without access to electricity. Miss Nightingale uses Solar panels through which sunlight is turned into electricity. Ingenious software is used to optimize the amount of energy that is stored on the battery and to optimize the use of this energy to feed the energy efficient LED.
Renewable Plastic
Plastic is used everywhere in the world. It has become a huge burden for our planet. Most plastics take a long time to degrade. Our oceans with the animals and vegetation are threatened in their existence. That is why Miss Solar Light is applying plastics that are recycled to avoid adding more plastic waste and to reuse plastics that already have been produced.
In-/Outdoor use
Miss Nightingale can be used In- and Outdoor. We have designed special drains in the saucer with in the back of our minds the increasing amounts of heavy rain as a consequence of Global Warming causing Climate Change. We advise to put the lamp outside fully exposed to the Sun during daytime to get charged. After sunset the lamp can then be used either outside or inside depending on where you are yourself. Charging can also be done through the USB cable that is included with the product.
USB
As an alternative for solar charging we also have provided a USB cable with the product. To charge, the cable has to be connected to the micro USB port of Miss Nightingale. The cable can at the other side be connected to a PC USB port or plugged into a USB power plug. We recommend to charge the product the first time by USB. It is our experience that after the first time USB charging, the sun will be more than sufficient to keep Miss Nightingale going for a very long time.
